Inspiring
Gardening is not just a business for us, it’s a philosophy. It’s the synergy of mind, body and spirit – engaging both art and science. Our gardens are a reflection of who we are.
Learning how to grow each plant is as important as arranging them so our heart and wildlife sing. You might say we grow plants and spirits here.
Using elements of design, we created gardens with most of the mother plants we use for propagation. You can see how that little potted plant will look in a garden setting. Our aim is to inspire and encourage you to grow.
Ecologically
We are an environmentally friendly micro-nursery. We don’t use pesticides and still weed by hand. Pre-owned pots are washed with both plant and environment in mind. Where possible, we use compost made on-site. If we didn’t have to use small amounts of high-quality, slow-release fertilizer, we wouldn’t.
We operate in an environmental way. Even our seeds are cleaned and sorted by hand. To us, it just doesn’t make sense to nurture a garden by destroying the environment. We try to minimize the use of peat, gas, electricity and plastic. If something can be recycled or repurposed, it is.
2025 Employee of the Week

Trachystemon orientalis is the gardener’s quiet ally, thriving in neglected shady corners where other plants falter. Its coarse, spreading leaves form a lush carpet, and come early spring, clusters of delicate blue, star-like flowers emerge, adding a gentle charm. It is undemanding and unassuming, yet brings a touch of wild elegance to the garden’s darker recesses.
