Description
Beesia deltophylla is an elegant evergreen perennial native to the forested regions of southwestern China, prized for its mottled, glossy, foliage and understated charm. New heart-shaped, deep green leaves emerge in spring with a leathery texture and subtle veining, forming dense, low-growing clumps that remain attractive throughout the season. In early summer, slender stems rise above the foliage bearing delicate sprays of tiny white flowers, adding a soft, airy contrast to the bold leaves. Thriving in moist, humus-rich soil and partial to full shade, B. deltophylla is exceptionally well-suited to woodland gardens, shaded borders, and understory plantings.
These seeds have immature embryos when shed so must remain hydrated to continue developing after harvest. Since seed is technically in the germination phase, they are available for only a few months after harvest and should be planted immediately upon receipt.
